<p>Paul Ngoie le Perc and his team return after the 2017 edition of the purely jazz festival &#8220;Kinshasa jazz&#8221;, in other words &#8220;Kinshasa night of jazz&#8221; for a new edition 2018.</p>
<p>Kinshasa Jazz also offers masters classes to Kinois musicians, meetings supervised by international jazz stars: Étienne Mbappé, etc.</p>
<p>2 evenings during which the festival scene will see jazz bands coming from all over the world. In the famous &#8221; Rue du Jazz &#8221;,</p>
<p>Etienne Mbappé travels the world and feels the jolts. He knows how to capture the cultural essence of a people, and magnify it through his compositions. Alongside Ray Charles, Salif Keïta or Joe Zawinul, he drew on the source of his multicolored sound identity. From Douala to Lagos, from New Delhi to Buenos Aires, Etienne Mbappé&#8217;s virtuosity now seems to marry the accents of his encounters, his journeys, his discoveries.</p>
<p>Etienne Mbappé proved, over the decades, his perfect mastery of jazz idiom to the point of being today a reference for many budding young bassists. He is also solicited by prestigious seniors, Ray Lema and John McLaughlin among others, who can not do without the generous mastery of the character. He comes to give an exceptional concert in Kinshasa, not to be missed!</p>
